Virtual Assistant

Inserting the card in any one of the terminal kiosks installed on the University campuses will connect you with the Virtual Assistant. Each kiosk has a touch screen for ease of use, and all are connected to each other and to central databases by a broadband network, meaning that transaction response is fast.

The Virtual Assistant has a large number of easy-to-use services, all accessed through the main menu which is divided into the following sections:

General Information

This section has a guide to how the pages work, an extensive source of general information on the University of Murcia, information on who has made the pages and developed the applications, and finally a zone for leaving comments and suggestions. 

Reservation Services

You will be able, from each kiosk, to reserve computer workstations or sports facilities. You can also cancel your reservations from any kiosk at a later time if you decide not to use them.

  •  Reservation of Sport Facilities: From the Virtual Assistant, using your electronic purse, you pay a rate of 50 Pesetas ($0.45 Cdn.), select the zone or campus, indicate the hour and the day (you can reserve up to seven days ahead). You can have up to two reservations at any time and can also cancel reservations if it is necessary.

  • Reservation of Computer Workstations: You may reserve a time at any one of our computer workstations offering full internet access. You can have active, at any time, up to 10 reservations, but you cannot reserve more than two hours consecutive at the same workstation. If you are not going to make use of a reservation, you can cancel it from any Virtual Assistant kiosk.
